The ad is very well designed. Other than the missing clear call to action like you have pointed out.

From FORD's bad engineering they got their Ford Explorer in the Urban Dictionary.

1. Ford Exploder
Ford Explorer after many tire blow outs causing crashes and rollovers.

FORD also has two acronyms that I know of.
Found On Road Dead
Fixed Or Repaired Daily

Toyota has always been great car maker. Their quality, safety and performance are still on top.

Now that they are number one in car sales. The first foreign car company to pass an American car company in sales. This has ruffled many feathers. People always forget and may not even do not know that most Toyota's sold in America are made in America by American employees.

Many of these accelerator accidents happened when the driver did not keep the floor mats off the accelerator pedal. Is that really the car manufactures fault? Really?

My Toyota Matrix has clips to keep the drivers side floor mats in place. So is it Toyota's fault that a driver did not clip the floor mats back in after the car was vacuumed or cleaned and then placed the floor mat over the accelerator pedal? Really?

The media loves it when any car manufacturer makes mistakes. And the media loves it more when the view does not check facts.

So who is in control? The media? The government? The consumer? The advertising agency?

Ultimately it is the brand that has the best integrity in the face of adversity and success.

Authenticity is key. Who wants to buy something from the auto dealership commercial that screams at you to come to the "Tent Sale-a-bration?"

Hello, Joey, and thanks for writing.

Oldest unpreserved wedding dress, eh? Nothing like a truly original idea. Props to you!

I'd say best way to get exposure would be to set up a site or blog and be sure you've got good exposure. Look into Google AdWords for the hit-ability, as it were. For about $100 per month and with the right keywords (the program will walk you through this), you can get some fairly steady traffic to a site explaining your idea and soliciting inquiries. I'd also recommend that you leverage Google Analytics to track this sort of traffic.

The tools are out there, but the most important thing is that you communicate the idea and the call to action in a coherent, cohesive way. Heaven forbid you get the hits but users end up confused about your intent.

Don't get discouraged about budget. Most of the big dogs I featured in my blog have far more funds to pour into a thing like this than you and I do. But that's certainly not do say that it's not completely doable. Tech today makes anything possible for anyone out there.

Have a ball pursuing what you most believe in, and the sky's the limit. Best wishes to you. Write anytime with further questions.

Best,
W.

If you want to do a stunt similar to the ones listed above, how do you go about advertising it and getting the attention? We were considering doing a hunt for the "oldest unpreserved wedding dress" but have no idea where to begin.
